Abstract
In this note we study diagonal genera of positive definite quadratic forms over rational integers. Such a genus can be constructed of lower dimensional genera. So the two-dimensional case is fundamental. We will find all diagonal genera on the assumption that we have the complete list of two-dimensional diagonal genera. Consequently we will obtain the list of quadratic forms of class number one.
